Front and rear pics of the Shén Diplomat (left) and Merchant (right).  The Diplomat has an intricately detailed cloak of feathers, and both miniatures have great scale details.








Two Shén berzerkers.  Again, great detail on the scales and a large shield.  The sword is interesting in that it is rather slender.

The vast majority of my Tékumel minis are mounted on 7/8" fender washers - which is unfortunately a really odd size and I kind of regret it.  Litko and others sell large bases for 1" or 20mm rounds; 7/8" is right in the middle of those two sizes.  I am not really desiring to rebase yet again but it might be the only way.

I have been unable, for some time now, to use spray paint/primer/varnish due to the fumes and also the lack of a proper place for spraying.  The primer problem was solved long ago - I now use either gesso or Reaper Master Series Brush-On Primer. If I was a little more forward thinking this step would have been done long ago, as it is a bit more work to take apart a mini after you have already assembled it and started the painting!I have removed his sword from the left side of his armor and removed the spear. I used a mix of Daler and Rowney Burnt Umber ink and 50% Future and coated the entire horse except the saddle.  I like the effect of the ink on the horse; the mane and tail will require some dry-brushing to make them look right.
