Some handy storage...

I have been working some long hours lately - 56 hours last week - so the productivity is dropping even lower than normal!  But, I am getting the urge to paint again so some real content will be posted shortly.

However, here is a post about how I like to store my growing stash of bitz:

These are the packages that we get vinyl electrical tape in at work.  The translucent material makes it easy to see what the contents are without popping it open, and although it is hard to notice in the pics there is a bit of a rim on the top that makes stacking much easier.

And here are two with an assortment of Ahoggyá arms.

Monsters, part 3

It has been a bit difficult to get back into the swing of things here, especially as I am working some long hours, and the hobby area was torn apart and re-organized.  But there has been a silver lining to these events.  One, even with the long hours, I am finding that just attempting to relax afterwards by 'Net surfing is not enough, and the urge for painting is returning.  Second, during the organizational drive I found some old miniatures that might work for gaming on the Half-Continent:

The three primed in white are juvenile Growlers from the old FASA game Vor the Maelstrom.  Although they do not fit the usual template for nickers, they will be just fine.  The beasty on the right is an old WOTC Dungeons & Dragons miniature, and could easily pass as a cousin to the Handsome Grackle from Factotum.  I am not certain if it needs to be stripped or maybe I can spruce it up some, but I might try to switch out the base for a round one.

Artwork

Nothing much is happening here with regards to miniatures, but I did get a nice package in the mail - the artwork from the first Tékumel kickstarter!  Here is a small sample:

These prints are bigger than I thought they would be - 5½" x 8½" for the smaller ones, with the Shén (in the background) being 8½" x 11".  It will be a bit before I can get these framed up but my upcoming overtime marathon at work will help with that.
