More Serqu pics

My surprise over the Empire army box has subsided somewhat, so here are some pics of the Legion of Serqu's troops:

Again, three different poses, with a female trooper on the left. These troops have their spear either at a 45 degree angle or upright, versus the leveled pose of some of the Ever-Present Glory troops. Also note the interesting shield for Serqu.

  1. Those look really fun Greg. No idea what they are (other than I know they are a fictional army), but looking forward to seeing how they turn out.

  2. I've got a used copy of "Man of Gold" coming from my sister so that I can finally find out what the "Empire of the Petal Throne" is about.

Cool looking figures though . . . and the shield certainly gives some good painting possibilities.

  3. Giles - here is a brief intro to Tekumel: http://eurekamin.com.au/downloads.php?newsid=EEyAuyZklFgBWFUDzB

Jeff - One item to note on MAR Barker's novels: they are linguistically challenging, as the author liberally sprinkles his work with fantastical words and creatures. I enjoy it, but your mileage might vary.

And thanks for continuing to stop by!
